We recently had a fabulous day with Alessandro making soufflés, ravioli, fish and dessert. We started by going to the markets to get produce which was great then back for the cooking class. Like another person commented I think I may be able to cook pasta now. Would recommend this to all.
My husband and I have vacationed in Tuscany many times and have never felt compelled to take a cooking class as we would rather try the local cuisine prepared by the experts. ;) But were were invited to join another couple who had taken Alessandro\'s class before and were so glad we accepted. The dishes were all delicious and, with the exception of the ravioli (I now have a deep appreciation for beautiful handmade pasta), we feel confident we can recreate at home. Great experience. I highly recommend including Alessandro\'s class in your holiday plans.
What a delightful afternoon we had with Eleonora teaching us how to cook authentic Italian food. We were staying at a Villa and we were very keen to have a \"cooking day\" at home so our travel agent found Tuscan Chef and we are glad she did! Eleonora was great fun, super knowledgeable about our dishes and a very good teacher. We had selected our menu in advance consisting of: Insalata Di Farro Di Alessandro, Home made Tagliatelle with Tuscan Ragu, Roast Duck Porchetta Style, & Pecorino, ricotta & pear tart. Elenora instructions and tips were perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and once it was all ready Eleonora served us in our beautiful dining room and cleaned up afterwards! We all thoroughly enjoyed the entire afternoon especially the pasta making. Now armed with the recipes we plan to recreate it again back in Australia. I\'ve always been a bit nervous to try making my own pasta but now feel fully equipped to tackle it! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, I can highly recommend Eleonora & Tuscan Chef
My daughter and I attend a cooking lesson with Alessandro. This moment will remain a great memory. Although we are not great cookers and thanks to Alessandro\'s tips (and patience), we managed to prepare a delicious meal. We are so proud to be able to maka pasta ! I can only recommand such an original activity while traveling through Tuscany, and especially with Alessandro.
What a glorious night we had, filled with laughter, learning, and fun! Alessandro came to the villa we rented and gave the eight of us a cooking lesson that resulted in one of the most delicious dinners we had in Italy, even if we never really mastered folding the tortelli properly. He was very knowledgeable and came with lots of patience and a sense of humor, which made all of us comfortable as we embarked on our cooking adventure. We all had a great time and would happily repeat the experience with Alessandro when we are in Tuscany again, We recommend him highly!
Family of 4 (two boys 11 and 9) from Canada had a fantastic experience with Alessandro! Menu was perfect, instruction just right. We can\'t believe how good the dishes were that we made with our own hands. Our group of nine arrived in Italy on July the 7th, Alessandro made a fabulous meal and it certainly was a treat for these weary travelers! Then on the 12th Chef Eleonora came to our villa and tought 6 of us (including some husbands) how to cook a fabulour Italian meal. Both chefs were helpful and fun to work with, well worth the money and both days were a highlight our our trip!
What an experience! Chef Eleonora came to our villa and offered our group a wonderful lesson in cooking simple, delicious Tuscan food. She was very patient and informative about Italian cooking and encouraged all of us to get involved. One of the best things we did on our vacation by far!
We had a wonderful family outing truffle hunting and cooking an amazing meal. Alessandro speaks excellent English and interpreted for our truffle hunter. We learned so much and highly recommend this experience.
Our party of 15, including two teens and one child enjoyed the whole experience of cooking together, learning how to prepare the various dishes, then enjoying the fruits of our labour. The meal was so delicious! The Tiramisu was exceptional. Alessandro was wonderful in \'managing\' everyone and getting all engaged in the preparations. The event was a highlight of our trip and we will enjoy the recipes in the future.
