Review of cooking class

Alessandro's class was a GREAT experience. His location in Montisi is intimate but fully equipped. We joined 5 others to make a ricotta soufflé with saffron, pumpkin ravioli, guinea fowl with caramelized onions and a wonderful mascarpone soufflé with caramel sauce. We started at 4 PM and the entire meal was ready to be shared by 7 PM. Alessandro is an excellent teacher - he provided a quick overview of each menu item and then skillfully combined a demonstration with hands on preparation. I believe all 7 of us came away with an understanding of how to make each dish again. He suggested substitutions that we can find in our U.S. market for some of the traditional Italian ingredients. Part of our class were couples that enjoy cooking together. This was not our case. However Alessandro offers a flexible plan that worked beautifully. Two of us took the 3 hour class and our husbands joined in the dinner for half price. Great solution for everyone. This was a fun and interesting cooking class and a memorable part of our holiday in Tuscany. The bonus is that I have learned recipes and techniques that I will duplicate at home and relive the memories of a wonderful trip. I would highly recommend it as an enhancement to your Tuscan vacation.

cooking class and truffle hunt

Undeniably the best experience of our vacation! A great professional who with his expertise taught us that we could also accomplish great meals. He made it a simple hands on lesson with outstanding results! The truffle hunt was beyond our expectations and cooking with them after was just a bonus.

We had a fabulous experience! Nice size class of 8 people. Alessandro was generous with his instructions and in sharing tips. Everyone got to participate. We all enjoyed Prosecco as we began our prep and ended sharing dinner together with Alessandro and some lovely local red wine. The little town of Montisi is beautiful. Highly recommended.

GREAT evening with friends and Tuscan Chef Cooking Class

Chef came to our tuscan house near Chianciano Terme to give a private cooking class for 4 of us and it was FABULOUS!!!!! We had a salad in parmesan baskets, a guinea fowl ragu, a fish dish and of course, Tiarmasu - we also made the tagliatelle pasta from scratch! We learned a lot and had a great time and a fantastic dinner! The booking process and meal selection process also went very smoothly - they are very responsive on email in getting this all set up! I would HIGHLY recommend this!!!!

I experienced a marvelous cooking class with chef Alessandro the first week of September, 2019. He is both knowledgeable and patience, a rare combination. He made the learning fun and free of stress. But don´t be fooled: this is the result of lots of planning and careful orchestration for this 4-7:30p four-course cooking lesson. I finally learned how to make good pasta from scratch. Bravo! I would recommend his cooking classes to the novice and experienced chef alike (and it´s a reasonable price, too). Grazie mille, Alessandro.

Our family took a cooking class with Alessandro as part of our week in Tuscany. We had four people who require a gluten free menu, but Alessandro provided a versatile and delicious menu for all of us to enjoy, and the experience of making it together in his lovely space was extraordinary. The menu was delicious, the wine flowed and we laughed and learned so much! One of the best things we did during our magical week in Tuscany—and highly recommend for both experienced cooks and novices alike!

Wonderful evening!

We had a wonderful evening provided by Tuscan Chef. Allesandro was easy to work with in advance. Elisabetta was a delight to have in our villa. Our meal was delicious. We engaged in making the handmade pasta with her, and she was fabulous answering our many questions. The chicken piccata was a huge hit and the chocolate cake was dacedent.

As I heard from our group, our four-course cooking class and dinner was "one of the best meals we had in Italy!" It was a complete success! I also heard, "I didn't think I'd learn so much", and "We all worked so well together!" All in all, a great experience :)

we hired one of Alessandro's chefs, Lorenzo ,to cook for 15 of us! It was a magical night and one we won't forget. Our 9 year old grand daughter especially loved rolling out the dough for raviolis. A magical night to celebrate two 70 year old birthdays!

Mr and Mrs

We participated recently in one of Chef Alesssandro's cooking class with our two children, who are in their twenties. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. Chef Ale was patient , thorough and was able to cater to our family's gluten and vegetarian dietary restrictions . ..and the dishes were all divine!
